We run regular schedules of classes, peer support groups and activities every week. These are open to anyone over the age of 18 and no previous experience is necessary. All our classes and activities are designed to promote positive mental health. Some classes are arranged through the ETB and booking your place through the FETCH system is required – but don’t worry, we can help with that.

Thank you for choosing a Limerick Mental Health activity. We appreciate your business and strive to provide you with the best experience possible. To ensure a smooth and efficient process for both our customers and our staff, we have implemented a cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel your order. To accommodate such situations, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that if you wish to cancel your order, please do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
How to Cancel Your Order:
To cancel your order, please contact our customer support through email at info@limerickmentalhealth.ie or cancel in your Flexitime customer account. Please provide your order number and the details of the items you wish to cancel. Our team will assist you in the cancellation process.
Refund Policy:
If you cancel your order within the 48-hour timeframe, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled items. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Exceptions:
Same-day orders: Orders placed for same-day pickup or delivery are exempt from the 48-hour cancellation policy. Once a same-day order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Special Events and Holidays: During peak seasons, special events, or holidays, our cancellation policy may vary. Please refer to specific event-related communications or contact our customer support team for more information.

Limerick Mental Health Association was founded in 2002 by a group of individuals who recognised the need for support and resources for those affected by mental health challenges in the local community. Since then the association has worked to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote positive mental health through a variety of programmes and initiatives. Today, LMHA continues to serve as a vital resource for individuals and families seeking support and guidance on their mental health journey. We have a permanent home in Sexton St in the heart of Limerick City.

We aim to promote positive mental health and well-being in the Limerick community and support adults on their recovery journey through peer-led engagement and activities.
Our vision
We see a Limerick where people value their own and each others’ mental health as an important part of living; Where people who experience mental health difficulties can recover and reach their full potential within an informed and supportive community.
We achieve this by doing the following:
- Reduce stigma around Mental Health in the community, By Hosting Limerick Mental Health week each year.
- Promote positive Mental Health for all and support Adults on their recovery Journey
- Influencing Limerick as a community where people value their own and each others mental health as an important part of living well
- Supporting people of Limerick who experience mental health difficulties in their recovery, contributing to them reaching their full potential within an informed and supportive community

Limerick Mental Health Week
We run Mental Health Week every year. The week will provide a forum to generate discussion, reduce stigma and promote positive mental health and well-being. Finally, Limerick Mental Health Week highlights the range of supports and services which are available within the local community to support our mental health.
Limerick Mental Health Association (LMHA) is affiliated with, and shares the aims of Mental Health Ireland (MHI) – a national voluntary organisation promoting mental health, supporting people with lived experience of mental health challenges in their recovery and bringing practical expression to national policy objectives.
