This supportive wellbeing morning has been created to give foster carers an opportunity to pause, breathe and focus on their own wellbeing in a calm and welcoming environment.
Foster carers give so much of themselves day-to-day, and this morning is designed to provide a supportive space to:
- Take time for yourself
- Learn simple wellbeing tools
- Hear relatable experiences
- Connect with others
- Leave feeling supported and appreciated
The overall tone of the morning will be relaxed, practical and accessible for all attendees.
Please feel free to bring a family member or friend with you on the day.

What To Expect
The morning will include:
- Guided breathwork session
- Burnout & wellbeing talk
- Foster carer experience talk
- Light self-care/stretching session
- Tea/coffee and refreshments
- Opportunity to connect with others in a supportive environment

To help create a comfortable and supportive environment, the morning will use a relaxed cabaret-style seating layout rather than traditional theatre seating.
Proposed Morning Schedule
10:00am – Arrival & Refreshments
Tea/coffee and relaxed arrival.
10:30am – Welcome & Introduction
10:40am – Guided Breathwork Session
11:15am – Burnout & Wellbeing Talk
11:35am – Tea/Coffee Break
11:55am – Foster Carer Experience Talk
12:15pm – Self-Care & Light Stretching Session
12:30pm – Final Thoughts & Thanks

This is a free event, however registration is required as spaces are limited.
